It is currently made up of the following Local Government areas: Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Kempsey, Port Macquarie – Hastings and the former Greater Taree LGA – now an amalgamated part of “MidCoast Council”.

The region has a population of around 260,000 people. The largest centres are Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, Port Macquarie, Taree, Tuncurry and Forster.

Early Connections is a fantastic organisation to work for.  Having been through the process of having my son while working for Early Connections I have felt supported and cared for throughout the whole process. The flexible work life balance has allowed me to juggle the return to work and ensure I can give my all while I’m at work while also knowing that if I need to leave for any unexpected illness or time off that the team will contact my clients and cover for me. I feel grateful for the fabulous working team I have around me which helps me to continue to grow in my profession and that I can discuss any ideas or clients with so that I can continue to offer my clients the very best services.

“ I cannot thank you enough for having me at Early Connections! I have worked at some great jobs and not-so-great jobs in some great and not-so-great organisations, and reflecting on my time at Early Connections, it would have to be the most lovely organisation I have worked in. I feel like the work I did, and the way I did it seemed really appreciated and effective, but at the same time there was plenty of fantastic guidance, role-modelling, feedback and opportunities to learn to make sure the role was successful. I have a lot more learning to do but I really do appreciate the role you have played in my professional development, but of even greater value, being able to connect with such inspirational people. I hope that everyone on the team and all the people you work with continue to go from strength to strength! Anna T.
