Early Connections Coffs Harbour Says Goodbye to OT Students

As the term draws to a close, Early Connections Coffs Harbour has farewelled a fantastic group of occupational therapy (OT) students from Southern Cross University. These bright young students have immersed themselves in practical learning experiences at our centre, and it’s been a rewarding journey for everyone.

We recently had the opportunity to chat with the students as they reflected on their time with us. Their enthusiasm and dedication were truly inspiring, and it was evident how much they’ve grown both personally and professionally.

“Our stay at Early Connections was incredibly enjoyable, it has given us the ability to help children become more independent to support their overall development and to improve their quality of life as aspiring occupational therapists. Working within an interdisciplinary team and utilising the key worker model has been a valuable experience.” Ellie and Nicole

We are proud of the hard work and valuable contributions these students made during their placement. Their fresh perspectives and eagerness to learn enhanced the experiences of both the children and our team.

As they continue their journey as emerging occupational therapists, we wish them all the very best! We have no doubt they will make continue to positively impact the lives of children.

Thank you, Southern Cross University students, for choosing Early Connections Coffs Harbour for your placement. We look forward to welcoming future OT students and fostering the next generation of occupational therapy professionals!
